Scope

SpritePixel is a project-based AI game-asset studio available at spritepixel.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect information when you use the website, accounts, project workspace, free tools and AI game-asset generation features.

This policy does not govern a website, checkout page or service independently operated by a third party. Those third parties process information under their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect and Process

1. Account and Authentication Information

We may process your name, email address, account identifier, avatar, login method, authentication records, account preferences and security status. If you use third-party sign-in, we receive only the information that service provides under your authorization.

2. Projects, Prompts and Uploaded Content

We process project names, project settings, prompts, reference images, character and icon descriptions, generation parameters, generated assets, sprite sheets, export information and related metadata that you create or upload.

This content may include personal information you choose to provide. Do not upload material you are not authorized to use or include unnecessary sensitive personal information, trade secrets or confidential information in a prompt, project name or reference image.

3. Generation and Usage Records

We may record generation tasks, task status, model and feature selections, failure reasons, credit use or return, downloads and exports, project activity and logs used to troubleshoot errors and prevent abuse.

4. Payment and Subscription Information

We process order numbers, plans, price, currency, payment status, subscription period, renewal or cancellation status, transaction time, payment email and necessary transaction identifiers returned by the payment provider.

Card details, wallet credentials and complete payment-authentication information are handled by the payment provider displayed at checkout. SpritePixel does not directly store complete card numbers or payment passwords.

5. Device, Network and Cookie Information

We may process IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, access time, referring page, error logs and cookies, local storage or similar technologies needed for login, security, language selection, session continuity and core functionality.

6. Communications and Support

When you contact us, we process your email address, message, attachments, order information and correspondence needed to resolve the request.

Sources of Information

Information may come directly from you, arise automatically as you use the Service, or be supplied by authentication, payment, AI, storage and other providers you choose to use. We do not ask a third-party sign-in provider for information beyond what is needed for login and basic account details.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• create and protect accounts, maintain sessions and remember language preferences;
• establish project context, process prompts and references, and generate and store game assets;
• manage credits, subscriptions, payments, cancellations, refunds and billing support;
• provide public or private asset features and deliver downloads and exports;
• monitor task status, troubleshoot errors, recover failed tasks and improve reliability;
• prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of the Terms of Service;
• answer support requests and send transactional or important service notices; and
• meet legal obligations, handle disputes and protect users, SpritePixel and third parties.

Where required by applicable law, we process information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests, obtain your consent or comply with a legal obligation.

AI Generation and Automated Processing

To complete a generation request, we may send prompts, reference images, generation parameters and necessary technical information to the selected AI provider. An AI provider may process data in a country or region different from yours and provides its service under its own terms and privacy policy.

Do not treat AI output as an automated determination of identity, ownership, legality or accuracy. We do not rely solely on generated output to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Public and Private Assets

Default asset visibility depends on the plan in effect when an asset is created. Under the current purchase-page terms, assets created by Free accounts and credit-pack-only accounts may be public by default, while an active Indie or Pro subscription may provide private-by-default assets.

Public assets may be accessed, cached or saved by other users, search engines or third-party services. Do not submit personal, confidential or restricted content to a public project. Even after deletion or a visibility change, copies in search-engine and third-party caches may take time to disappear.

Private assets are delivered through authorized access controls, but no network or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep a local copy of important assets.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use necessary cookies, local storage or similar technologies to maintain login, remember language and interface preferences, prevent fraud, protect sessions and provide core functions.

If we later use optional analytics, advertising or marketing technologies that require consent, we will provide the disclosures and choices required by applicable law. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent login, payment or project features from working correctly.

Service Providers and Sharing

We may provide the minimum information needed to providers supporting:

• cloud infrastructure, databases, content delivery and file storage;
• authentication and account security;
• AI models and generation-task processing;
• payments, subscriptions, refunds, invoices and fraud prevention;
• email, customer support, error diagnostics and security; and
• a reorganization, merger, financing, asset transfer or acquisition, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We may also disclose necessary information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect security, to enforce the Terms of Service, or to protect the lawful rights of users and third parties.

Providers process information under contracts, their privacy policies and applicable law. A provider may have separate rules for retention, international processing, or model and service improvement. You can review the applicable provider policy before using the related feature.

International Processing

SpritePixel and its providers may process and store information outside your country or region. Data-protection rules may differ between locations. Where required by applicable law, we use contractual or other recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, security and business records, dispute resolution and legal obligations:

• account and project content is generally retained until you delete it, close the account or the Service no longer needs it;
• generation, credit and security logs are retained for a reasonable period needed for troubleshooting, abuse prevention and account records;
• order, subscription, refund and tax records may be retained longer to satisfy accounting, payment and legal obligations; and
• backups, caches and disaster-recovery copies may remain for a limited period after deletion before they are overwritten or removed through the normal cycle.

Aggregated information that has been anonymized so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you may be retained for statistics and service improvement.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as access controls, permission separation, transmission safeguards, logging, security updates and provider management. No Internet transmission, AI processing or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on the law where you live, you may have the right to:

• access, obtain a copy of or learn about personal information we process;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• delete an account or specified personal information;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent-based processing;
• obtain information you provided in a portable format; or
• complain to a local data-protection or consumer authority.

You may manage some projects and assets through available product controls or email support@spritepixel.com. We may need to verify your identity. A request may be limited by transaction records, security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups or legal obligations.

Account and Content Deletion

Download assets you want to retain before deleting a project or account. Content may not be recoverable after deletion is completed.

Public links, search-engine indexes, third-party caches, payment records retained by law and limited-duration backups may not disappear at the same time. We will act on deletion requests to the extent required by applicable law and reasonably feasible with the technology involved.

Children

The Service is not directed to children who are below the age at which they may independently consent to use digital services where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such a child without appropriate consent. If you believe a child provided information without valid consent, contact us and we will take steps required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as SpritePixel, its providers or legal requirements develop. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Where practicable, we will notify you of a material change through the website, an in-product notice or the email associated with your account.
